TEENAGER WHO LIVED IN PLASTIC BOWL AFTER LIMBS STOPPED GROWING HAS DIED

A teenage girl who was forced to live in a plastic bowl after a mystery illness caused her limbs to stop growing has died.
Rahma Haruna, who lived in Kano in Nigeria, passed away on Christmas Day, according to reports.

The 19-year-old was struck down by a mystery illness when she was six months old meaning her limbs stopped growing.
The condition has confounded doctors and left her in constant pain.
Her case came to light earlier this year when her mother, Fadi, made it public to seek a medical specialist who might be able to help treat her.
Talking about her family, she said: ‘They help me a lot. How do they? They give me anything I need.’
