A commercial bus driver was stripped naked at about nine am at mile two for not bulging to the will of some police men on patrol. The police men accused the commercial bus driver of disobeying traffic rules and for evading arrest. An eye witness who was present at the scene said that the police men tried stopping the bus driver but the bus driver ignored the police men.” The police men tried stopping the commercial bus driver but he ignored them. The police men here on patrol have converted this road into a revenue point for themselves. The police men extort money from commercial bus drivers and this is really very rampant here in mile two. They stripped the commercial bus driver because he did not give them the usual” he said
All efforts to reach the Nigerian police force public relation officer proved abortive.
